Google voice is free for one more year till 2012 - Just as we predicted last year

When we posted about the Free landline phone (Home phone) using Google Voice we predicted that Google Voice will be free for a few more years. We have heard the news that Google Voice is going to be free for 2012 too. If you are not a user of Google Voice let us get you up to speed first. We have talked at length about the features of Google Voice. To sum them up here is a short list

The news is not official yet...but it is true

Google hasn't officially announced on Google Voice blog that they are going to offer Google Voice for free in the 2012 but we have confirmed from multiple sources that they have updated their promotions to attract more readers to Google Voice. These promotions mention Free calls and texts for 2012. Here is a screenshot of one such promotion:

This news has also been confirmed by ObiHai as they have started advertising it on their Amazon page. Read the details and you will see it.
